It's hard to believe a year ago I was getting ready to move to Peterborough. Now, I am getting ready to move back home to Goderich! There is less than a week of classes left.
Next Friday, I'll be moving back home to Goderich...BUT...it still seems like I have a lot of stuff left to do before than:
- Complete treatment on my artifact. This involves finishing the encapsulation (basically, sandwiching the map between two pieces of mylar, a clear plastic) and making either a frame or folder for it. I'm leaning more towards the folder simply because it is from an archives and I think storage of it would be much easier in a folder.
- Studying for my four final exams: History of Tech III, Lab Methods III and Chemistry are all next Tuesday. My archival course final exam is on Thursday.
- Complete and present my business plan. This is my final group project. It's worth 50% of my final mark and honestly, it scares the s^&% out of me.
- Do my presentation about the care and management of agricultural collections. Yes, I know...it sounds exciting. Believe me, it is ;).
- Complete my journal entries for site visits over the last half of the semester.
- Come up with a list of preliminary research topics for my internship. I already know what I am doing for this but it needs to be handed in for my internship/career course.
I head home Friday to get my mum's van (and Jeremy). I'll be back in Peterborough by Saturday afternoon. On one hand, it sucks that it's such a quick trip home. On the other hand, I'll be done as of next Friday so I'm not overly upset about it.
