I mentioned in my last entry that I got to tag along with Mary's class for a cruise up the Otonabee river and guided tour of the Peterborough Lift Lock. I don't think anyone knew that we would actually be taken underneath the Lock while it operated! It was an amazing experience and one that not too many people get to take part in.
I took a quite a few pictures and recorded lots of footage. Roger, a long time employee took us on the tour. He is extremely knowledgeable and enthusiastic about the Lift Lock. Major thanks to him for showing us around.
Anyway, here's what I've edited together. I have much more that I couldn't include because of time constraints.
