Okay, more about our trip to Charlotte! I would have to say this one of the best vacations Jeremy and I have ever had. Even though it was rather short, we had an awesome time and as I said in a previous entry, everyone we met was very nice. Even though many of the people we met up with we'd never met in person, we got along great right away and there was none of that first meeting akwardness.
I've already told you about our Friday there. Now onto Saturday, also the BIG DAY for Maggi and Chris.
We went to the mall on Saturday with a couple of the other guys just to kill some time since the wedding wasn't until 4:30. After that, we actually ended up going to Jeff's for a little while. We grabbed lunch at this fast food joint called Sonic:
Where we ate lunch. It was a typical fast food joint.
The food was good. Jeremy ate a foot-long hot dog and later, drank about 3 litres of water. Hanging out at Jeff's for a little while was great. While we were there, Jeff was extremely nice and downgraded my PSP for me and put custom firmware on it for me. Don't ask me to get to technical about it. Let's just say I'm exploiting the usefulness of the "modded" PSP as much as possible. Thank-you again to Jeff for taking the time to do that for me! :) Also, another thanks to Jeff and his wife, Kelly, for letting us hang out there again on Saturday afternoon.
We arrived at the church around 4:15, a little later than we expected. We ran into the groom, Chris, inside the church. He had so much nervous energy! I heard him say to the minister "You have smelling salts, right?". Poor Chris! But may I just say, he made it through the ceremony just fine! The wedding started right at 4:30 (the last few weddings Jeremy and I have been to have started late). The ceremony itself was wonderful and Jeremy and I were both so happy we were able to be part of Chris and Maggi's special day. The bridge and groom both looked great, as you can see from the picture below:

shot taken by Jeremy.
The reception began immediately after the ceremony. It was great! Lots of good music. Unlike receptions here though, most of the people had cleared out by 9:00pm (keep in mind though, we were at the reception hall by 5:15 or so). Here are a few shots from the reception:

After the reception, we went back to Jeff's place again. On the way to Jeff's place, we passed a fireworks store (which are on nearly every corner in the U.S.) and discussed how great it would be to welcome Jeff home with a fireworks display in his driveway (Jeff forgot his wallet at the reception place so we arrived a few minutes before him). We decided this probably wasn't a good idea.
We hung out at Jeff's for a little while and played some video games. Jeremy managed to piss a few people off while playing "Worms" with his signature move, "the torch, tunnel and wait until sudden death", OR, as I like to call it (and I'm sure those who were playing the game that night would agree), "cowardly".
We were back at the hotel by 11:30. Dave, Sean, Jeremy and I all had to get an early start in the morning. We were up at 5:30 to take Dave and Sean to the airport and after that, we started home.
Thus ends one of the best trips EVER! Saying goodbye to everyone was tough but I know we'll see them again. And I said before, everyone was so nice, nothing was akward and we are definitely looking forward to the next tehbias reunion, whenever it may be! And we also grateful to have been able to be part of Maggi and Chris' special day.

You can view this picture one of two ways:
1) Jeremy is being nice by getting Jeff's mail for him
2) Jeremy is committing a federal offense by taking Jeff's mail
He looks guilty so we'll go with option 2.
