It's the Thanksgiving long weekend here in Canada. Jeremy and I had the day off today and, coupled with beautiful (and rare for this time of year) weather, we decided to take a drive out to Ball's Bridge. For those not familiar with Ball's Bridge, it is located just outside Goderich in Ashfield-Colbourne-Wawanosh Township. About a year ago, there was talk of closing and actually demolishing the 123 year old bridge. To make a long story short, the bridge is staying open AND has some much needed restoration work done. I was happy when I heard about this because it's a neat place to go and means a lot to the people who live in that area. For more information, visit the "Friends of Ball's Bridge" website (Jeremy and I actually have some photos on there!).
The drive out to Ball's Bridge was pretty, since all the leaves have started to change colour. Autumn is my favourite time of year and anytime I can, I love to go for a drive or on a walk to look at the changing colours. We also took quite a few pictures while we were at the bridge and I've posted them below:

That is so weird. This post just showed up now. I've checked your blog almost daily and tonight is the first I've seen this one. Hmm.
Yeah, it was because I started it last Monday, saved it and finished it yesterday. I noticed it after I posted. I thought it was weird too. I think to get it to show up with the day it was actually posted, I would have had to delete the original post and start a new one...
Interesting. I would have thought the date would be the posting date, too. Not the start date. At least I'm not crazy, though!
