I realize my previous entry was pretty negative! For as many places I encounter BAD customer service, there are places where I've encountered AMAZING customer service. I figure I should list them here:
- Body Shop: In nearly all the Body Shop stores I go into, the customer service is amazing and the employees are always super nice! Yes, the products are expensive BUT believe me, the products do work (the Tea Tree Oil line of face products has really improved my skin!). Besides the products being really high quality, one of the main reasons I continue to shop there is the customer service. The employees, as I said, are always nice, and VERY helpful. They also know their stuff! When trying to find a new skin care product, I went to them and they set me up with their Tea Tree Oil line. They also have a great discount program too.
- Suzy Sheir: The one in Stratford is particularly good! Friendly and helpful staff. I went in there a few weeks ago because I was in desparate need of a dress to wear to my cousin's wedding (which is tomorrow). I was feeling pretty bad about the whole thing because I hadn't had any luck anywhere. As soon as I walked in, an employee came right over to me and asked if I needed help finding anything. I told her about the wedding and she set me up with two different outfits! One of them had a lot of pink on it but I tried it on anyway and guess what? I bought it! I honestly never would have tried the dress on if I'd been looking on my own. I walked out of their with two dresses, a blazer/jacket, and a pair of shoes, all for $88.00 (they had a sale going on plus I have a discount card) and feeling pretty good about the whole thing! I know I'll go back there again.
- Olive Garden: Jeremy and I have been to two: one in North Carolina and the one in Port Huron, Michigan. Every time we've been there has been GREAT! The food is AWESOME (I know Jacki agrees with me:) ) and so are the wait staff.. We've always had a positive experience there. One time, the waitress recognized us from before and knew exactly what drinks to get us! Very cool. It seems in the U.S., they generally do the whole customer service thing better in restaurants than what we do in Canada.
- Zehrs in Stratford: Where the Zehrs in Goderich goes totally downhill, this Zehrs goes up hill! The cashiers are nice and the produce is way better than in Goderich. The bulk of my groceries is fresh produce, so I really like a place where the produce looks good (well, who doesn't?). It's sad, but when I saw the red delicious apples in Stratford a couple weeks ago, my mouth started watering and I was sold. Ever since then, I've started buying apples again.

Hi
Just wondering why the Zehrs in Goderich has gone down so bad?
I shop at Zehrs also in Kitchener and I like it alot.
Thanks
Anna
I think it's to do with the management but I'm not sure. All I know is fruits/veggies don't look as good as they once did, customer service is not good for the most part, I've had bad luck with expiry dates and they don't have as much variety as Stratford does. I know Goderich is a small town but still...
