WOW! We are having an amazing time here in Charlotte! Everyone we have met is so nice and even though it's our first time meeting everyone, there is no awkwardness AND it feels like we've known each other forever.
As Jeremy said in the previous entry, the ride down was beautiful. Much of drive was spent in the Appalachian Mountains and there were some amazing views!

Thursday night we went to Olive Garden for dinner. It was delicious! Afterwards, we went to meet Maggi and Chris, who are the bride and groom for the wedding we're going to today (and members of tehbias). They are both very nice and we went back to their place. A big thanks to them for making us feel so welcome on our first night in Charlotte :). They showed us some games on the Nintendo Wii, we played some Boom-Boom Rocket (a very addictive X-Box 360 Arcade Game), which I will be buying off the Marketplace when we get back to Goderich (thanks, Maggi :) ), and we able to check out the Call of Duty 4 beta, which Maggi received an invite to. It was awesome to hang out with another couple that enjoys video games as much as we do! Thanks again, guys!
Friday morning, we picked Dave and Sean up at the airport at 10:00 and Mike at 12:30 (again, all members of tehbias). Yesterday evening, we went to Jeff's place (another forum member) for a party/gathering, where we met Bryan (forum member), Allan (forum member), another Mike (forum member) and his wife Jackie, Mark (forum member) and his wife Wendy. Like I said before, everyone is so nice and all of us hit it off instantly! We had an amazing time and were even introduced to this game called "Corn Holing". Sounds interesting, doesn't it? Remember the bean-bag toss from gym class? Yeah, that's what it is. Click here for an explanation from Wikipedia. Southerners just call is "Corn Holing". I got some video of us playing so we'll post that later but for now, here are a few pictures:

The wedding is 4 1/2 hours away. We're looking forward to hanging out with everyone again tonight at the wedding reception! It's going to be tough to say goodbye to everyone tomorrow morning!
